Neighborhood Clean Ups

Each warm month, we pick a different spot to clean up. We walk around, pick up litter, clean storm drains, and chat. When we’re lucky, we get to meet neighbors we’ve never hung out with before. When we’re done cleaning, we pick a local place to eat and get to know each other better. Pratt Beach - Sunday, July 13

We hit the beach after the 4th of July weekend to see if we could help out. Thankfully, the beach looked pretty good already and we concentrated our efforts on the grassy picnic areas. Here’s some of the crew taking a break.

North of Howard - September 14 and October 12

We love this area so much we hit it twice! We went all around Triangle Park, the Howard Area Community Garden, and south to Howard Street.
